The Last Poets Challenge

Are you The Last Poet?  We welcome all poets, rappers, writers, and lovers of the spoken word to participate in The Last Poets Challenge. A definite prerequisite is that you know about The Last Poets and what they have represented within the 50 plus years of their artistry.

We challenge you to share some words in rhythm and poetry, rhyme and imagery, or even a colorful story, that can move the crowd. As long as it is your truth in relation to the upliftment and acknowledgment of yourself and/or your people, we consider it ‘Last Poet’ worthy.  As we are in the midst of a shift in the world as we once knew it, we are looking for those final words, those last messages of truth and inspiration from the Last Poets of the world. So we ask the question… ARE YOU THE ‘LAST POET’?
